What is the difference between Mufflers 64985-07 and 64985-07A mentioned on HD.com accessories list?
Does "EPA legal" mean they are equiped with catalyst?
The 07's are the first generation and are quieter than the 07A. I've got an 08 Ultra and the 07's I believe are just slightly quieter than stock at idle, but when you get on the throttle they are a good bit louder and definately add power. They do not have the catalysts in them. EPA legal means they meet the 80db noise emissions law. If you let me know what you are wanting from slipons then I may be able to help you get the right ones. Although I would love to sell you these, since you are overseas I would like to see you get exactly what you want. In other words I have tried several. As I said the 07's are nice, but I personally wanted a little louder so now I am running the 80491-07 one piece design. I really like them as they are louder and deeper everywhere but still EPA legal. I have heard they sound similar to the 07A's. But if you are looking for a good performing and good looking muffler that is slightly louder than stock, then the ones I am selling are ideal. The shipping as I just figured on line to you would be 107 dollars. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks

I think you would be happy with the 07A's. They are as loud as you can get and still have the EPA legal stamp on them. The good thing is after some miles on them they get even louder. Just FYI, have you heard about IED's and XIED's? Check out this link: http://www.nightrider.com/parts/ These things are amazing for cheap. The IED's work best with just slipons and stock air filter and the XIED's work best with slipons and K&N replacement filter. They plug into the o2 sensors in the exhaust on 07 and 08 bikes. They trick the ECU into running richer which helps power and lets the bike run cooler. Its really well worth the price. This is a cheap alternative to buying a high dollar fuel system like SERT or PC111. Check it out. Thanks, George
